Jyl Anais is a poet and visual artist who works at the intersections of a variety of media. Soft Out Spoken, her first collection of poetry, will be available in stores in Fall 2019. Her work has appeared in Anthony Award nominated Protectors 2: Heroes, Nixes Mate Review, and Asylum Magazine for Democratic Psychiatry among other publications. Jyl has worked as a legal advocate for victims of child abuse in the court system, as well as with law enforcement and in the private sector as a forensic medium.
