Serafina B.

Serafina B. is a 36-year-old artist born in Nicuaragua who has won art prizes and has pieces in museum collections.  She has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder.  She is open with friends about her illness, but writes anonymously about her suicide attempt because of the stigma that might lead her colleagues to view her through a singular lens.
