Deborah Kasdan

For 35 years, Deborah Kasdan had a corporate career writing about business and technology. She has served on the board of directors of the Southwest Connecticut chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness and also with a senior housing organization. After the death of a sister who was incarcerated in psychiatric hospitals for decades, she started writing about her family's experiences. This story is adapted from an as yet unpublished memoir.
