Mike McCarthy

Mike McCarthy is someone with lived experience in the mental health system who was formerly employed as an advocate. He grew critical of the traditional system due to its use of forced treatment and reliance on the medical model. Mike strongly opposes all forms of coercion and believes a revolution is needed to create a mental health system without force, fear, or "professionals.”
