Teresa Rudgley

Making sense of New Zealand’s mental health system has been Teresa's mission for nearly twenty years. She graduated from the “crazy mother of a mental health patient who doesn’t share the clinicians’ view" school of hard knocks, to realizing the real story about the law, medications, and diagnosis paradigm trap and the damage it has caused her son. She supports other families by sharing information and is developing a local medication withdrawal support team. Teresa lives in Northland, New Zealand.
