November 5, 2021 – November 11, 2021ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
The twelve-year old film festival was founded by Leonard Buschel and Robert Downey, Sr. to increase awareness of and reduce the stigma associated with alcoholism, addiction, and mental illness, through the use of film.
MISSION
Film, which is a multi-sensory experience is expertly suited to open a dialogue that can lead to greater acceptance and understanding of drug and alcohol addiction, and the people it affects.
VISION
Nearly half of Americans have a family member or close friend who’s been addicted to drugs. There are more 77,000 drug overdoses a year and COVID-19 is causing a spike in alcohol sales and use. We must use every avenue possible to send a clear message that recovery is possible.
