    It’s so sad that justice is like a mirage. It’s the same up here in Canada. We’re told from the time we’re young that we have a Charter/Constitution, and that our nation was founded on the rule of law, and that if anything happens to us then the criminal justice system will intercede with its 4 “R’s (retribution, restitution, rehabilitation, release). The thing that they omit, or neglect to tell you is that there are two systems: one for them, and one for us. Their’s works, ours doesn’t, and if you’re ever in the shadow of white collar crime you better have some deep pockets if you’d like recourse because the sun don’t come back for free. However, with enough people walking the halls threatening lawsuits eventually you can start a class action. Payouts are low, but attention is garnered- along with a minimal level of justice restored.
