Now that the San Bernadino stabber has been ID’d as an “ex-mental patient” — WHAT DRUGS WAS HE TAKING???
I think the suspect is taking Benzo but with the recent development, the doctor could help identify what types of drug is he taking. If you think the guy is no longer doing good, you can always consult a professional to identify the drug was using. There are drug rehab san diego that he can consider to help us.
I took Zyprexa 15mg for about 5 months and gained 30 pounds. I stopped taking Zyprexa cold turkey. Then I started crying a lot, with anxiety, panic attacks, nauseas and irregular sleeping cycles. The worst part was the insomnia. Then I was put back on other medications to help me with the insomnia, anxiety and crying. Some symptoms improved over time, the anxiety, crying and panic attack disappeared. Now I am only taking Gabapentin to help me with the insomnia however It is not helping enough but is the only meds that at least make sleep. I am sleeping just 2-3 hours a day, sometime just 1 1/2 hour. I am truly desperate looking for answers. I have been in this situation for over a year and 1/2. I am never sleepy either hungry. I do not feel tired. Could it be possible that Zyprexa permanently damaged my brain?
I keep a good sleep hygiene, eat balanced and healthy, do exercises.
I think you’re just being nervous and maybe worried for those bad experiences you have had when you took a certain drug called Zyprexa. While this drug may be the reasons for all your predicaments but these are just suspicions until proven otherwise.
You need to consult an expert in the field of medicine to really give you a good and precise information about that problems. You have all the rights to withdraw from anything you don’t like. It doesn’t that because you are being treated for drug addiction recovery, they can do do anything even if it’s against your will. If there are plans of inducing heavy medicine or whatever, your immediate guardian or your parents must be informed.
We are living in democracy and we can voice out anything that we think not anymore under the bounds of the tenets of democracy. Addiction rehab centers must adhere to this democratic society and refrain from anything not approve by the patient. The patient has all the prerogative to consult his parents or his guardian.December 6, 2017 at 4:22 pm in reply to: Mother accidentally takes her son's antipsychotic pill by mistake! #134185
Having kids with drug addiction problems are really very challenging for the parents. Home medications for gradual recovery saves money but there is also this challenge of not being taken cared of properly by expert professionals. As compared to kids being brought to rehab centers, home medication is also considered slow process of recovery. Remember that your parents or anybody in the house taking care of a recovering patients, has no enough expertise to this matter.
Blood test in lab is even very important to the patient so that expert professionals can easily found out the levels of addiction your kid is into.
