You make an excellent point. What happened to trades like autoshop taught in high schools? Gone. We need to get rid of the idea that college is for everyone.
Yes!!! Exactly!
Yes! Fresh air, exercise, healthy food, nature, art, more moving around, playing music, especially playing drums, less sitting, less or no television, working with tools…yet public schools will tell parents there is something wrong with a child who moves too much.
*of not if
Mindful self-compassion. So important.

Alternatives are more time consuming and many if us want a quick fix, that was me, that is why. It is rare to find the Kelly Brograns who actually help people. Not all of us have time to keep insisting on a second or third opinion. Yet I persisted. A THIRD blood test by a THIRD Dr. who actually listened, revealed a shockingly low level Vitamin D in my case. Also a
follow up showed very low Iron. All bodies are different. For many years I was told medication would help. What has helped me is daily exercise as well. Daily. Not 3 times a week. Just my story.
I also saw the headline about Chris Cornell (I am a true fan) with the word Ativan. How many more lives will be lost to this horrible drug?
Very!!!
Ativan made me very, very ill, taken as prescibed for menopausal anxiety and insomnia. How can we all help spread the word so no more lives are lost? I became suicidal, yet through a SLOW taper, daily yoga, meditation, healthy food, fresh air, etc. I am very well after 3 years off. Grateful for Kelly Brogan and Mad in America. Sick and sad about Chris Cornell and those who still suffer.
