Honestly, regardless of the EEA or whether it is valid, or whether its invalidity makes twin studies completely useless scientifically, I’ve never seen the point of calculating heritabilities of these complex traits anyway. Who benefits? How can you argue that calculating that trait X is Y% heritable will improve our ability to prevent or treat that trait, even if the estimate is accurate? This is of course totally separate from the issue of heritability not really being relevant to anything other than selective plant breeding anyway, and the fact that there aren’t just a few genes behind these disorders to target with drugs or whatever.
It’s actually still online on another website: https://www.empr.com/home/features/can-a-physician-be-held-liable-when-a-patient-commits-suicide/
