Mad in Germany: This is the story of my life – as I experienced it. I cannot definitively prove what role the antibiotics, the mental health crises, or other stressors played. I only know that my life changed drastically after a course of antibiotics in 2002, and that I have been searching for answers ever since. Many connections are not yet fully understood scientifically. This account, therefore, makes no claim to universal validity, but rather describes my personal experience – with illness, despair, hope, and the long road back to life.

It is almost impossible to prove temporal cause.
Some antibiotics can lead to for example but not limited to, depression and even psychosis.
When combined with other medication/s, if not researched, what will happen is unknown. Even when researched, each individual has their own biology, chemistry, pathways – so trust your experience.
