Viviane Valdes, Ph.D., M.P.H., is a Research Fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School. She earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Emory University and an M.P.H. in Epidemiology from New York University. Her research focuses on the systems and developmental processes that contribute to the emergence of psychopathology, particularly in early childhood. Through her research, she hopes to generate evidence that can improve existing identification and intervention approaches, with the goal of promoting mental health from the earliest stages of life.
