totally agree !
What are we waiting for ? let’s organise a march and tell the politicians enough is enough – this kind of forced psychiatry is barbaric and medieval and not for the 21st century. Let’s expose the danger of these antipsychotic long term danger on the brain and make our case heard. Can someone organise this?
Hi Rufus, my partner is suffering from the same problem – he is forced to take his antipsychotic meds and I see him getting worse. I worry about the long term damage and have asked his psychiatrist to lower doses but they refused – they want to take him to a rehab. How can I stop this – he’s under section 3. I need professional people who can persuade and convince his psychiatrist to reduce his meds. Would you help us ?
I checked the label on EMPowerplus and they are made in the USA not Canada – also there was a huge law suits against this company and wondering if they are genuine.
Why Council for Evidence-based Psychiatry, with such big leading authors such Peter Breggin, Peter Gøtzsche, Peter Kinderman, Joanna Moncrieff, Sami Timimi and Robert Whitaker who are so vocal about the danger of antipsychotic, Bezos and all these lethal drugs that cause deterioration of cognitive and “possibly” irreversible brain damage can’t challenge the norm and form institutions or clinics to help patient come off their meds safely – instead of leaving patients in the hands of devils. Come on guys, you have the power and resources to do such thing so help us! Pleeeeeeeeeeease
Thanks Bradford. I just googled beyondmeds.com and it looks great. I can barely keep up with Mad in America LOL.. now I have more to read .. thanks, I mean it – if I can take my friend away from this place and let him deal with his own withdrawal symptoms without having his family calling the police on him to detain him.
Wow, what an inspiring story Margaret – you are truly a brave and determined woman wanting nothing but to reclaim your life. I have a dear friend who suffers from schizophrenia and he tried nutritional therapy but unfortunately he couldn’t carry on with the program. He was admitted to hospital 4 months ago after trying to come off his meds cold turkey. He relapsed and his family sectioned him. He’s adamant not to take his meds when he comes out. I wish I can do more than just being a good friend.
