  • Hi Daniel,
I have to admit, when I first started reading this I thought you were going to be an arrogant self serving biased person. However, after a few paragraphs my hypothesis was proven wrong. I commend you for what you have done in your life, and the lives you have changed. We need people who truly understand what it means to be real, and to live life. Not living life by being held down to a job for money, with little to no care in the world for others. I am currently in school heading towards a long goal of being a therapist. Like all of us, I have had my demons and my battles and I wanted to share with people that it is possible to win and move past our demons. After reading this though, I have become somewhat concerned. I want to share my story with others if it can help them, or at least let them know they are not “wrong” or “broken”, because everyone has battles and we need to help each other. For someone going into this field do you have recommendations? Is it possible to be a therapist that maybe isn’t tied down to ridiculous rules about “boundaries” or letting the therapist be a human being? What advice can you share? Thanks again for this post!
