No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

    Due Process and Equal Protection are violated with every disabling Diagnosis so long as certain groups of people, by virtue of employment status, are granted special legislative carve outs protecting them from Psychiatry.

    And perhaps a 12th too.

    Excusing the homicides the Industry knowingly sells as ‘Side Effects’ is also a misconception. They know full well what they’re doing.

    This is the VA.

    A review of existing algorithms, including VA National Guidelines, APA, the Texas Medication Algorithm Project (TMAP), and PORT was conducted. After careful consideration, a modified version of TMAP was selected, and named the New Jersey Algorithm.

    The sequence includes two trials of atypical antipsychotics followed by a Clozaril trial. If no favorable response is observed, a third atypical neuroleptic is tried, followed by a typical neuroleptic, followed by a combination of antipsychotic medications. The consensus of the internal advisory committee was to provide a flexible algorithm that will allow for minor modifications as new research is disseminated. Though a positive outcome has not been observed with the NJ Algorithm to date, researchers suspect that a larger sample size might generate significant findings in the future.

    This is the last summation of the size of the VA itself I have on hand.

    All of that, and no positive outcome no matter which drugs they use, singly or in combination.

    The VA isn’t addressing the actual efficacy of these drugs.

    On Jan 16, 1919 Congress prohibited alcohol with the 18th amendment to socially engineer a behavior which busybodies at large found distasteful.

    Criminals moved in supplying alcohol, gave us the roaring twenties, and built huge organized crime empires on the profits.

    On dec 5, 1933, Congress belatedly realized the foolishness of the 18th and repealed it with the 21st Amendment.

    However, we were still stuck with those organized crime families which had become so rich and powerful from bootlegging that Congress later passed the Federal Racketeering Statutes to deal with them.

    Today we’re seeing the results of a decades long tax it to social engineer it sales pitch on cigarettes in NYC.

    As to why Doctors do what they do, . . . it’s just plain old fashioned CYA. They’ve got a lot of money and a lot of time invested in buying their work ticket. State mandated medication menus must be obeyed and when the patient ends up crippled or dead, they, their billing services, their hospitals, their Universities all have more Lawyers and Money than the patient or the patient’s surviving relatives.

    In Arkansas it only took the jury 3.5 hrs to return a $1.25 Billion verdict against J&J. And as I understand the Ark Supreme CT ‘s overturning of that verdict, an amicus brief submitted on behalf of J&J advanced the argument that it was the Doctors and not J&J who submitted the actual bills to the State’s medicaid fund, (after the Doctors sold Risperdal based upon information about Risperdal supplied to them BY J&J) so J&J wasn’t responsible.

    Iincomprehensible reversals of the Hypocratic Oath?

    However, in the interest of concision, I am willing to group all of your subsequent concerns under the heading of the Citizen and Society At Large (The Greater Good, if you will) being Defrauded either out of money and/or into unlawful acts of physical and psychological violence being perpetrated upon them.

How much more difficult is it for the medical lay-person to know the issues involved in an investigative drug and how it will be affecting their physical, emotional, and perceptual equilibrium? And for how long?)

    All of us as Citizens have specific and exactly circumscribed rights which Govt. can not revoke or even impinge upon. Among those rights is a right to Private, Personally Owned Property. Having that property damaged, destroyed, or stolen through acts of Fraud or Force is prohibited by Law.

    Emotional and Perceptual Equilibrium (as functions of bodily integrity) is a Right:

    Would you, or anyone else, agree to ingest a drug which has a track record of so distorting emotional and perceptual equilibrium that it has driven other consumers to violently murder their own family members?

    Of course you wouldn’t.

    But every prescriber in the state of California does commit the fraud of prescribing those murder causing drugs – In The FULL, and Criminal, FORE KNOWLEDGE that that is Exactly what they are Defrauding into the consumer and upon the people of the United States because every last one of them know that the drugs require State Police Registration.

    Even without the State Law charge of Attempted Murder Every prescription for such drugs is already a Federal Felony under US 18C95 Sec 1958 punishable by up to 10 years in a Federal Correctional Facility.

    The scope of this criminal undertaking is so breathtaking that while there are other legal means to stop it, temporarily, here and there, the Federal Racketeering Statutes are made to order.

    Please don’t take the tone of this next explanatory section personally. I’ve copied and pasted it from previously explaining it to a woman who lost her son and another young man to murder/suicide from Psychiatric Drugging, which should accounts for the acerbity of my vernacular as it was targeted to someone sharing my disdain for this Industry.

    Since J&J’s Risperdal carries State Police Registration In California, the CYA of denying its homicide factor ought to be a slam dunk perjury conviction in Any Court. The State Police don’t have time to concern themselves with diabetes, heart attacks, brain death, TD, or even suicide. They’re not going to hold everybody’s hand 24/7 just to be ready to ask them if they’d like to go see the nice Doctor again.

    Murder however, Does interest the Police. US 18C95 Sec 1958 is a glaring denunciation of what the FDA’s safe and effective is actually worth, and what Psychiatric Denials are worth in Any Country because every last Medico in California knows the Police Registration/Homicide routine. They have to, to prescribe those “safe & effectives”.

    FDA rules and regulations, the FDCA, and pronouncements of benevolent intent from the Council on Ethical and Judicial Butt Coverage do not supersede or over rule Federal Criminal Law. They are subordinate to and subject to Federal Law as clearly codified and expressed by Congress who are the Only people Constitutionally Empowered to craft Federal Law.

    US 18C95 Sec 1958 specifically criminalizes the use of Interstate Commerce Facilities in the commission of murder for hire.
    1: Are Interstate Commerce Facilities in the US being used to distribute the drugs?
Yes (commercial trucking, air freight, rail, UPS etc, ….. & using US mail, electronic mail to bill, pay for the product, pay the employees, Should have the US Postal Service prosecuting under this statute as well as for Federal Mail Fraud.)
    2: Are people/employees being Paid/Hired to distribute the drugs using Interstate Commerce Facilities?

    3: Do the drugs cause Murder?

    4: Are the prescribers in possession of the Knowledge that the drugs cause Murders?
    In California, Risperdal requires registration with the Cal. State Police and every prescriber Knows it.
    No more proof is needed.
    Once you walk through the 1958 door you find the doors to Sec 1957, 1956, and 1952 also unlocked.
    To get a Court to hear your gripe, you need a legal peg to hang it on. The fact that you got a raw deal is irrelevant. They’ll tell you, We’re Sorry, and yes life IS unfair, but we’re not empowered to make it our concern.”
    This Statute however is extremely specific as to what IS the Court’s concern/duty to address.
    This Statute doesn’t specify that the victim be identified by name or in any other fashion, only that the end result be murder or its attempt. If the people involved in any aspect of these drugs are involving Interstate Commerce Facilities in any way, then there Are grounds and Courts do have jurisdiction to hear the argument.
    The Racketeering Laws are the direct consequence of previous behaviorist Intervention/Social Engineering. In America the 18th Amendment criminalized alcohol. Bootleggers grew into very rich organized crime syndicates by providing alcohol. When the 21st Amendment repealed the ban those crime syndicates had scads of money which they put into other illegal activities, and Congress created the Racketeering Statutes to suppress the crime syndicates that the prohibition of alcohol created.
    This Statute doesn’t state that violation even requires actually crossing a State Line. It criminalizes using Interstate Commerce Facilities. So, even if the attempt, (which doesn’t have to be completed: in this case the murder causing drug), meets the criteria of the “or conspires to do so” clause, so long as Commerce Facilities such as Banks, Savings & Loans, Wire Services for transferring money which as a part of their everyday, legal Commercial activities do transfer money across State Lines, and/or commercial shippers which engage in Legal Commerce across State lines become involved at all, the Racketeering Statutes make even the attempt a prosecutable offense punishable by up to 10 years in a Federal Penitentiary, per attempt/prescription.
    As for the clause “or conspires to do so”, all That requires is proof that as few as two people cooked up a plan to sell the stuff which involves using Interstate Commerce Facilities of Any sort in Any way shape or form. So long as murder Can result, and it Has resulted in the past, this Statute fits.
    You’ll notice it also includes the words “Foreign Commerce” so it Should grant the Government and Citizens of Countries other than the United States legal standing to prosecute any American Based company or company that does business in America in an American Court, for violating American law just for also Using Any Institution of already Lawful Commercial Activity in Countries Other than the United States.

    And if any Medico claims the patient was a potential murderer to begin with and their chemical intervention hasn’t Unlawfully endangered the public’s safety, that tosses the skunk of prior restraint into the stew – pre crime policing and Star Chamber sentencing – which also runs counter to every civilized nation’s publicly assumed/perceived legal system.

    So; “Is it only a matter of who pays for it?”

    Most definitely not.

    It’s a matter of the worst and most reprehensible type of Murder: Murder that doesn’t even have any reason beyond Money to commit it.

    And that’s why Congress, not I but Congress, Made it all about Money, which they themselves are dishing out wholesale to Pay for it.

    A review of existing algorithms, including VA National Guidelines, APA, the Texas Medication Algorithm Project (TMAP), and PORT was conducted. After careful consideration, a modified version of TMAP was selected, and named the New Jersey Algorithm.

    The sequence includes two trials of atypical antipsychotics followed by a Clozaril trial. If no favorable response is observed, a third atypical neuroleptic is tried, followed by a typical neuroleptic, followed by a combination of antipsychotic medications. The consensus of the internal advisory committee was to provide a flexible algorithm that will allow for minor modifications as new research is disseminated. Though a positive outcome has not been observed with the NJ Algorithm to date, researchers suspect that a larger sample size might generate significant findings in the future.”

    VA Serves 5.3 Million Vets and Active Duty personnel, at the widely disseminated 1% of everyone has Schiz stuff, that’s 53,000 people the VA has hosed with SGAs and 1st gen antipsychotics too.

    in which Dr Nardo seems to look down his nose at the Catholic Church and finds the term Secular Humanist to be Invective laden.

I suppose it’s something like the question, “Do you believe in evolution?” – again, as if evolution is a belief system rather than simply the narrative applied to a large body of clear scientific observations.”

    1st: We must address the Legal Aspects of Govt. funding/respecting ‘Humanism’, not only in medicine but in all aspects of American life.

    It’s Illegal, period, and for the purposes of this discussion it is specifically Illegal for the Centers For Medicare Services (CMS) to dispense public funding/support for ‘Humanism’ in any area of endeavor.

    the 1st Amendment states:

    “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

    Billing Medicare/Medicaid to ‘Respect’ Humanism is prohibited by the Highest Law in the land.

    Depriving people of their Unalienable Civil Rights by financially supporting/respecting Any Religious Belief System or single Religious Belief is Prohibited BY LAW under US 18C13 Sec 214 & 242

    It always chaps my hide to read bloggers who were literally put on an elevator to hell by these drugs, Call them ‘Medications’.

    And since there’s nothing even remotely medicinal about them, they don’t have any place in professional medicine.

    I don’t give a rat’s hind foot What the prescriber’s work ticket says, but Especially with Psychiatrists; Shrinks work with these drugs 40 hrs or more a week. A full third of them can’t even be bothered to read the FDA Label.

    And Yet, everybody else is expected to believe that these clowns who do nothing but sell dope and ‘Diagnose’ mystic, incurable spiritual diseases, are so stupid that they still can’t figure out what those drugs actually do.

    It’s called, . . . Plausible Deniability, . . . or as I’ve pointed out time and again, it’s a Courtroom Defense which boils down to: “The Drug Companies Lied To Us about how Safe and Effective their Drugs Are, and We Believed Them.”

    Because an injured consumer has a snowballs chance in hell of beating a Drug Company in Court whereas winning a judgment against a Doctor is a Far, Far, Lower Bar.

    Hardly a week goes by without our reading of a particular psychological disorder that has been traced to a rogue brain chemical, or brain area, or beyond that to a genetic variant. These two books, in their different ways, reflect the fact that psychiatric research today sits at the intersection of neuroscience and genetics, and a very long way from the psychodynamic terrain it once occupied. Nancy Andreasen is one of the ushers of this ongoing paradigm shift. Twenty years ago, one of her books, The Broken Brain, became the general reader’s herald that the scientific consensus about psychological disorders was shifting. Here she returns to survey the ground, choosing this time the new genetics and brain scanning as the tools that are making light the dark recesses of the mind. Andreasen’s book is a solid enough overview of some aspects of modern biological psychiatry. Her summaries of the techniques of contemporary human genetics, and of brain scanning and the cerebral architecture it reveals, are extremely clear and useful. By the time she comes to survey the main psychological disorders, though, she has run out of steam slightly. Thus, while these chapters constitute useful introductions to schizophrenia, affective disorders, anxiety and dementia for those who have no prior knowledge, there is little in the way of synthesis of what we now understand to be the nature of these disorders or of the puzzles that remain.

    In the case of schizophrenia, for example, far from the twin searchlights of genetics and brain-scanning locating a nice clean smoking gun, they have revealed much more complexity and variability than we could possibly have imagined. Despite some welcome words about the need to avoid obstructive dichotomies (nature vs nurture, brain vs mind), Andreasen is not prepared to engage with the possibility that neurobiological research might make us question the whole conceptual framework – a set of neat, discontinuous disease categories – that her book employs. Anxiety and mood disorders, for example, are treated as separate chapters in the book without comment, while genetic and neurobiological evidence leads us increasingly to think of them as related or even different aspects of the same thing. Many of the brain abnormalities (and some of the genetic loci) associated with schizophrenia are also associated with bipolar mood disorders, a crossover difficult to accommodate within a discrete framework.

    Brain Imaging May Detect Schizophrenia in Early Stages
    By ERICA GOODE, New York Times

    Scientists have known for some time that people who suffer from schizophrenia show abnormalities in the structure of their brains.

    But in a new study, researchers for the first time have detected similar abnormalities in brain scans of people who were considered at high risk for schizophrenia or other psychotic illnesses but who did not yet have full-blown symptoms. Those abnormalities, the study found, became even more marked once the illness was diagnosed.

    The subjects in the study who went on to develop psychoses had less gray matter in brain areas involved in attention and higher mental processes like planning, emotion and memory, the researchers found.

    Experts said the study’s results, reported yesterday in an online version of The Lancet, the medical journal, offered the possibility that imaging techniques might eventually be used to predict who will develop schizophrenia, a devastating illness that affects more than 2.8 million Americans. Doctors could then offer treatment while the disease was still in its earliest stages, possibly preventing further damage to the brain.

    But Dr. Christos Pantelis, an associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Melbourne and the lead author of the report, cautioned that much more research was needed before magnetic resonance imaging, the method used in the study, could serve as a diagnostic tool for individual people with schizophrenia.

    “I think it’s still too early to say how helpful it will be,” Dr. Pantelis said.

    Still, other researchers called the study’s findings exciting and said that the areas of the brain in which the abnormalities were found would now be an active focus for study.

    “This is a terrific first step,” said Dr. Paul Thompson, a professor of neurology at the University of California at Los Angeles and an expert on brain imaging and schizophrenia.

    Dr. Herbert Y. Meltzer, a professor of psychiatry at Vanderbilt University and an expert on schizophrenia, said, “It proves that the psychosis is almost a late stage in the evolution of the disease process.”

    He added, “The key message is that this is a neurodevelopmental disorder and that changes in memory, learning, attention and executive decision-making precede the experience of the psychosis.”

    People who suffer from schizophrenia typically experience auditory hallucinations and have blunted emotional responses and difficulty with activities that require planning or other higher-level processes.

    Some studies have suggested that the earlier the illness is treated with antipsychotic drugs the better the prognosis. At least two research groups, one led by Dr. Patrick McGorry, an author of the Lancet report, and another at Yale, are conducting studies in which young people who are experiencing some symptoms but have not yet developed schizophrenia are treated with antipsychotic drugs. But the studies have been controversial because it is not yet clear which symptoms predict later illness.

    In the new study, the researchers used magnetic resonance imaging to scan the brains of 75 people who were deemed “at high risk” for psychosis because they had a strong family history of severe mental illness or had other risk factors, including transient or mild symptoms of mental disturbance or a decline in mental functioning.

    Over the next 12 months, 23 of the subjects developed a full-blown psychosis and 52 did not fall ill, the researchers found.

    A comparison of the brain scans from the two groups revealed significant differences in the volume of gray matter in areas of the frontal and temporal lobes and the cingulate gyrus. All three regions have been linked to schizophrenia by previous research, Dr. Pantelis said.

    When the researchers conducted additional brain scans on some subjects who developed psychoses, they found further reductions in gray matter not seen in the scans taken before the illnesses were diagnosed.

    Uh-huh. A preventative poisoning with antipsychotics will prevent further brain shrinkage and perhaps stave off schizophrenia.

    Well, they say you can tell a bit about a person by the company they keep.

    A. I haven’t published this yet. But I have spoken about it in public lectures. The big finding is that people with schizophrenia are losing brain tissue at a more rapid rate than healthy people of comparable age. Some are losing as much as 1 percent per year. That’s an awful lot over an 18-year period. And then we’re trying to figure out why. Another thing we’ve discovered is that the more drugs you’ve been given, the more brain tissue you lose.
