  • I also was “forced” to go to therapy (not phisically tho, but I clearly refused to go and my parents did not listen to me). I was 14, and like a lot of teens, I was just angry and responded badly to other people, specially to my family. So they forced me to go to therapy. I went two days (one hour each day), but I didn’t talk back to the “professionals” until they made my cry (bc I OBVIOUSLY didn’t wanna be there). Then they made to talk with my school psychologists even though I didn’t want to and same thing happened, I didn’t talk back to them.
So one day my mom randomly said to me that the professionals gave her pills (she didn’t say it was Prozac, an antidepressant) and asked if I wanted to take them (I said no, luckily they listened that time). It may not seem like much, but I just felt so bad that I was forced to do that.
In conclusion, a couple of psychiatrists/pshycologist or whatever saw me just sitting in complete silence for two hours and decided I needed antidepressants. Nice.
Sorry for my english, it’s not my first language:)
This was 5 years ago but it still makes me so mad.
