Thanks for all the comments so far, great to see the discussion taken forward. Can i just offer an immediate apology re language. I have learned that terms here tend to highlight disagreement. there is little consensus about language amongst us as mental health service users, survivors, psychiatric system survivors, consumers – whatever we feel ok being called. this i think is a reflection of the battlefield out there about us, our lives and experience. So please forgive me if I get it wrong. I think we are all bound to. what is important is the kind of discussion people are having. all best peter
