  • I was diagnosed with ADHD a couple of years ago at age 53. I feel fortunate that due to my high blood pressure I wasn’t able to be prescribed adderall right away. I started producing a documentary on ADHD partly as a way to force myself to find out what kind of treatments are available. I have met people who seem to have been greatly helped by drug treatments and others who feel they were victims of Big Pharma greed.

I went from believing stimulants were my best chance of managing ADHD to realising we must be much more educated about as consumers when choosing treatment. My documentary will be treatment agnostic due to what I’m learning as I research for the film. Thank you for another enlightening article.
