Becoming a MIA Subscriber

Much of the information published on Madinamerica.com is accessible for free. However, to get full access to all content on the sites, including our science reviews and drug resource pages, you need to become a MIA Subscriber. The cost is $5 a month or $20 for a yearly subscription. All subscribers receive free admission to MIA webinar events.

What payments does MIA accept?

MIA uses Stripe which accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diners Club, China UnionPay, and debit cards.

Stripe also supports subscriptions in more than 130 currencies.

MIA can also accept checks for yearly subscriptions, or to become a “lifetime” supporter of MIA. (A donation of $500 or more will make you a lifetime supporter of Mad in America.)  Please send checks to this address:

What happens after you submit your payment to become a MIA subscriber?

After you submit your payment via Stripe, you will receive two emails. One will be a receipt. Please keep this for your records. The second email provides you with a link for activating your subscriber account. Your email will serve as your username and you will create a password for logging in.

Please check your spam if you do not receive these emails within one hour. And please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions or difficulties, or do not receive these automated emails.

Login 

Once you have set up your username and password, you can login by clicking on the “donor login” link in the upper right hand of the menu bar. You can also set your browser to enter this login info automatically whenever you visit madinamerica.com.

Once you have logged in, you will have full access to all content on our site. In addition, whenever we plan a MIA webinar or event, we will send a free pass to your email for the event.

FAQ for Active Donors

How do I log in?

After you have completed payment and set up your account, login every time you visit Madinamerica.com by clicking the ‘Donor Login’ link in the upper right of the menu bar. As noted above, you can also set your browser to enter this login info automatically whenever you visit madinamerica.com.

How do I cancel my monthly payment?

Existing donors may cancel a monthly donation either by contacting [email protected], or by logging into your Mad in America Donor Account, and following the directions there for cancelling your account.

How do I renew my yearly donation?

Yearly subscribers will get a notice via email prior to the end of their subscription notifying them that their yearly subscription will automatically renew unless they choose to cancel. The email will provide a link for cancelling the renewal. Yearly subscribers may also cancel their renewal by contacting MIA at [email protected] or by logging into their account and following the cancellation directions there.

What is “lifetime” donor status?

Anyone who donates $500 or more to Mad in America will be listed as a lifetime “subscriber.”  Each year at the end of December the donor’s subscription will be automatically renewed.

How can I make a donation in addition to my subscription payment?
