Undetected Diabetes Found Frequently In Adults Taking Antipsychotics

In a screening of 783 adults taking antipsychotics  who had no known history of diabetes, researchers determined that 10.2% in fact had diabetus mellitus and another 37% had “prediabetes,” meaning that they were at high risk of developing the disease.
