Atypical Antipsychotics in the Treatment of Schizophrenia: Systematic Overview and Meta-Regression Analysis

An overview of 52 randomized controlled trials of conventional v. atypical antipsychotics in a total of 12,649 patients, published in the British Medical Journal in 2000. The study found no evidence that atypical antipsychotics were more effective or better tolerated than conventional antipsychotics.
