GETTING FROM HERE TO THERE
David Ross, MEd, LPCC, is the Associate Director for the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Ashland County. He has been employed there since 2004.
David is an independently licensed counselor with the State of Ohio. He received his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of Akron. He continued studies at Akron earning his Masters of Education in Community Counseling in 1994.
He has had experience with the implementation of several Evidence Based Practices (EBPs), including Integrated Dual Disorder Treatment & Supported Employment from both an agency and board (administrative) perspective. David is particularly interested in how the current biologically oriented paradigm of care can be replaced with psychosocial approaches.
