I still say it was brilliant

I am sad to see that so many people reading the posts on this website are so easily fooled.  Does anyone really believe that NAMI will stop being funded 100% by the drug companies? That they will disown all the work they have done over the years to take away our legal rights?   That they will stop being what they basically are now, a front for the drug companies?  Come on. You all know what they were set up to do.

Hmm, maybe I can get appointed as president of a drug company. That would be big progress, huh?  Geez, I need the money.  I’ll work on it. I hope you will all support me when the time comes.

Mad in America hosts blogs by a diverse group of writers. These posts are designed to serve as a public forum for a discussion—broadly speaking—of psychiatry and its treatments. The opinions expressed are the writers’ own.
