POWER AND ALTERNATIVES
Tamasin Knight is a public health doctor from England who is interested in power issues in the mental health system and alternatives to the medical model. Tamasin is the author of a book, “Beyond Belief – Alternative Ways of Working with Delusions, Obsessions and Unusual Experiences,” and is part of the Editorial Collective for Asylum Magazine which promotes alternative voices in mental health. In 2013, Tamasin was awarded a Winston Churchill Travelling Fellowship to research empowerment and peer-led alternatives to conventional mental health services in the USA.
