Brent Potter, PhD, has published numerous articles, the book Elements of Self-Destruction, and has three forthcoming books: Borderline Personality Disorder: New Perspectives on a Stigmatizing and Overused Diagnosis, Elements of Reparation: Truth, Faith, & Transformation in the Works of Heidegger, Bion, & Beyond, and Prometheus Rising: Stealing the Fires of Cultural Collapse. Potter’s writing reflects his education in existential-phenomenology and psychoanalysis, situating so-called “mental illness” within its social-historical context.
