ON OUR OWN, TOGETHER
Bonnie Schell is co-editor of On Our Own, TOGETHER: Peer Programs for People with Mental Illness (Vanderbilt University Press, 2005). In the 1980s she was an active member of Psychiatric Inmates Rights Collective, in the 1990s was a founder and member of Mental Health Client Action Network drop in in Santa Cruz, CA, and in the 2000s was Director of Consumer Affairs for a managed care organization and Board Chair of NC CANSO (North Carolina Consumer Advocacy, Networking and Support Organization). She is now retired.
