In The Daisy Project, Daisy’s upcoming book, she shares her insider knowledge as a former mental health nurse and as a former psychiatric patient. Her story exposes the inner workings of the psychiatric system and how to overcome the barriers successfully. Daisy co-authored a booklet with Janet Currie, titled What People Need to Know about Psychiatric Drugs, and has contributed to www.psychmedaware.org.

Daisy, I have a small paper about the Authors from yrs. ago. Today I am on psychiatric
medication. For some yrs. I felt good about who I was. But again the old story is still out there. I am on the other side of the fence. Living in a condo with the current rules is difficult
& am fully aware of the conditions. Unfortunately I have been verbally abused by a strata
councilor but I do not wish at age 81 to pursue the situation via the normal channels. Maybe,
I hope my mental conditions are not known but I have always had my power to be myself as you said OUR TRUST HAS BEEN BROKEN, WE HAVE NOT BEEN GIVEN THE FULL PICTURE!!
