Patrick Landman, MD, is a French psychiatrist, psychoanalyst, and lawyer. He is former chairman of the Convention Psychanalytique, former chairman of Espace Analytique, and chairman of Initiative pour une Clinique du Sujet STOP DSM. He is the author of Freud, Tristesse Business le scandale du DSM 5, Marx Lacan (with Silvia Lippi), Le Refoulement (with Gérard Pommier), and Tous Hyperactifs. His interests include how institutions — such as Institutional Psychotherapy — can be helpful or harmful, the link between psychoanalysis and neuroscience, and the issue of diagnosis in psychiatry and in particular in ADHD.
