Brian Koehler – Short bio

Brian Koehler’s long-term research interests include the effects of profound stress and social isolation/social defeat on the brain, neuropsychoanalysis, individual psychotherapy, as well as the integration of neuroscience research with psychosocial models in severe mental illness. He teaches at CUNY, NYU, and Columbia, and is Associate Editor of the journal “Psychosis: Psychological, Social and Integrative Approaches.” He is in private practice in Manhattan and Hastings-on-Hudson, NY.
