Julie Greene was a gifted music composer and trumpet player who entered the System rather quietly on her own at age 23 in 1981. Over the years, with each progressive disease she was assigned, she played the role to the best of her ability, having always been a high achiever. After three decades she began to write about human rights abuses in the System. She published all of this online in her blog. This infuriated her doctors and hospital administrators. Thus began a battle that almost killed her. Today she continues to joyfully expose psychiatry. Her upcoming book explains how she overcame her eating disorder by rejecting all the myths she was taught in therapy and instead embracing a more active human rights approach.
