“This song and video clip is a pure fever dream! It is a melting pot of sound and visuals with audio samples that point brilliantly to the absurdity of psychiatry. I experience the song as an almost defiant, tongue-in-cheek banger of a track. It’s like being in an altered state and the inside of a psychiatric hospital all at once. Also, one of patients I used to care for, who was with us — against his will — for over a year consecutively, and many years cumulatively, would play it and sing along with his cheeky grin. So now whenever I hear it I think of him and it makes me happy and sad at the same time. Such a mad world. Such a dope track.”
