The Parasite Within by Rhiannon Chianese

I claw and climb into your head,
Controlling your thoughts until I am fed.
With a drink or a drug, I will be seized.
With a drink or a drug, we will both be eased.
Like a parasite you won’t realize I am there,
Until you beg for help because I have filled you with despair.
I want to keep you feeling insane,
And convince you I will take away your pain.
I claw and climb into your head,
I would do anything to see you dead.
Through a drink or a drug, I will kill you so.
Through a drink or a drug, you will be gone before you even know.
