From Mad in Sweden: One of the most important new research results that has come to light in recent years regarding ADHD is that it has been shown that in the youngest children in an age group, ADHD appears more often than in the older children. The first time this phenomenon was described was in a study done in the USA back in 2014 ( Elder, 2010 ). What was particularly interesting in this study was that the American school year breaks at different months in different states. It was found that the highest prevalence of ADHD was consistently found in the youngest children in each grade, regardless of what time of year it occurred.
