Instead of an expert-led diagnosis and treatment model, users and their social networks were put at the center of a dialogical process aimed at finding ways out of the crisis. Secondly, multidisciplinary teams were organized in the local community to provide immediate help in crisis situations, and account was taken of the user’s and family’s needs, continuity of support from the same team and a primarily psychotherapeutically oriented approach (with the least possible use of medication). .
