Gisela Sartori

Gisela Sartori, MA, has been a psychiatric survivor and social activist most of her life. She got involved in the psychiatric survivor movement in Germany in the early eighties, and after immigrating to Canada co-founded Second Opinion Society in the Yukon. She has devoted many years of her life to creating safe spaces for people to work through their despair without the threat of being locked up or drugged up. During the last few years Gisela facilitated many groups both in Canada and China, concentrating on the issues of loss and grieving, and on connecting people to the great outdoors.
