Jennifer Hough

Jennifer Hough witnessed the dehumanising biomedical model of care of mental health services. As a journalist, she wrote about mental health services and sought to amplify voices expressing concern about the status quo of treatment in Ireland. Currently, Jennifer works as research and policy officer, advocating for the implementation of trauma informed services for people in emotional distress. In 2021, she spoke at the Critical Voices Network of Ireland conference.
