Shannon Branigin is a PhD candidate in Social Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh and holds her MSc in Global Mental Health and Society. Her research interests centre wellbeing, climate change and rewilding, exploring ethnographic narratives of and relationships between identity, connections to land and other species, and climate-invoked distress. Other penchants include reading (especially Tolkien), dancing, climbing, and writing.
