The International Benzodiazepine Symposium

We invite you to join progressive thinking health care professionals, educators, political representatives, journalists and those interested in how benzodiazepines have impacted our society for the past 50+ years.

The following objectives will be explored:

*The role of benzodiazepine and non-benzodiazepine use for anxiety states and insomnia, along with best practices for treatment.

*Evidence-based approaches to improve management of benzodiazepine use in various clinical settings.

*The nature of benzodiazepine 'dependence', often misunderstood as 'addiction'.
