I work in the field of operational psychology, so I do not accept referrals for general psychological conditions. My patients are military, paramilitary (e.g., police), veterans, and civilians who work or have worked in high-risk operational environments. Patient’s primarily have diagnoses of PTSD, other anxiety disorders, or mood disorders, with or without alcohol dependence. I actively encourage my patient’s to pursue wellness outside of the medical model, and proactively educate them on the dangers of phychopharmacology, as well as the ways in which the prescribing of psychopharmacological drugs has outstripped the science/ evidence for their use. Currently, I am involuntarily recalled to active duty and serving in Africa. I will return to the United States during the 2013 holiday season (precise date unknown) and resume my practice at that time.
