I am a Jungian oriented psychologist. I believe that a person’s psyche has within it everything the person needs to find healing. Healing, in the Jungian sense, means finding meaning and transformation within suffering. And suffering is something we all experience. It is a part of being human, not a symptom of an illness. Psychological distress is a human process, rich with meaning and information, not a disorder or a physical dysfunction with symptoms that need to be “managed”. Thanks to amazing mentors and teachers, I have learned that healing occurs in activities that make us human: relating, communicating, trusting, creating, and communing. These are the activities that comprise my practice.
