Long-Term Antipsychotic Treatment Causes Brain Tissue Loss

In 211 patients studied for up to 14 years, Nancy Andreason et al. found measurable brain tissue loss associated with antipsychotic use. The results were published in the February 2011 issue of Archives of General Psychiatry.
