The Huffington Post reviews “the standard text for students of mental health policy”, saying “the new edition focuses attention on several of the major controversies regarding mental health policy, including, among others: The presumed, but actually very weak, link between mental illness and violence… Disputes about the new system of diagnosis that will be introduced in May”, and a “Discussion of the pros and cons of expanded reliance on psychiatric medications.”
