Sheila Matthews – Short Bio

Sheila Matthews is co-founder of AbleChild. She was the first mother to testify on behalf of the first state Law prohibiting school personnel from recommending psychotropic drugs. Matthews advocated to remove dangerous antidepressants from use on foster care children/wards of the state of Connecticut.  She has been featured on media outlets including CNN, FOX, and Time Magazine.
