Georgetown University in Washington, DC, will host the next “Pharmed Out” conference on June 11-12, 2015. This year’s theme is, “The Real Risks of Rx Drugs.”
“This conference focuses on drug costs, polypharmacy, industry influence on clinical guidelines, risks of opioids, anticoagulants, antipsychotics, and drugs for insomnia,” the conference website states.
Presenters include Carolyn Clancy, former director of the Agency for Healthcare Research & Quality, Charles Seife of New York University, and
Andrew Kolodny of Physicians for Responsible Opioid Prescribing.
