The UK Independent reports that Ireland is moving toward a policy of decriminalizing small amount of drugs like heroin, cocaine, and cannabis in what amounts to a “radical cultural shift.” While it would remain a crime to profit from the sale of these substances, users will have specially designated areas for safe use. The chief of Ireland’s National Drugs Strategy told the paper: “I am firmly of the view that there needs to be a cultural shift in how we regard substance misuse if we are to break this cycle and make a serious attempt to tackle drug and alcohol addiction.”

  1. But what about about all those sociopaths working in the “justice” system here in America ?

It creates alot of jobs destroying the lives of people who over do the partying and develop addiction problems.

And what about all the addicts who are “helped” by being kidnapped by armed government men, put in cages and then forced to make monthly payments to a system that knows 90% of them will fail to get sober get trapped in the system sometimes for decades making those payments ?

Those Sociopaths in those court buildings are people too, just because they goto work all day helping that system destroy people doesn’t make them “bad” does it ?

And doesn’t it help the rest of us get better jobs the more people they give a drug record barring them from good employment ?
