At Midnight by Caroline Rose

Song of the Week by MIA Staff Arts Editor Karin Jervert: “I love the dream imagery in this song. It seems that she describes therapists or psychiatrists, showing them as grotesque characters in the way they approach the singer’s pain and offer her pills, and how those pill affect her image of herself. To me, this is a great sonic journey through the psychiatric experience and the confusion, loss and rediscovery of identity that happens.”
