From Mad in Argentina: Madness is not the condition of being, but of being. No one is in itself crazy, sane, good or bad. No one is one way or another, but rather one wants to be in a certain way a little to put together a life project and another little to feel that consciousness has a reason to be, and in that way tolerate the emptiness of meaning that, in truth, is intolerable. We believe that consciousness is only one thing that must accommodate a handful of adjectives that define our personality.
