From Mad in Sweden: Lotta Borg Skoglund is associate professor of psychiatry at Uppsala University and a specialist in psychiatry and general medicine, as well as founder of the private healthcare company SMART Psykiatri i Sverige AB. She is also the author of several books about ADHD and its treatment and a frequently engaged expert guest in the media where she has, among other things, appeared repeatedly on SVT, Sveriges Radio, TV4 as well as in daily newspapers and the evening press. Borg Skoglund has also for several years been a member of the Swedish Medicines Agency’s scientific council for medicinal products for human use. An assignment that is now being completed by the Medical Products Agency after the authority’s review of Borg Skoglund’s conflicts of interest and business relationships.
