Education in Open Dialogue

From Mad in Norway: The training will offer a thorough introduction to the conceptual basis and the central principles for the Open dialogue approach and dialogic practices, as well as concrete practical training in Open dialogue, including management of network meetings. In addition to teaching, the education will offer skills training with guidance. Jaakko Seikkula, who will also help teach the course, says that the course will also include a so-called “Family of origin” workshop, where students work with their personal history as a starting point for empathizing with others’. This is so that they will become the best possible in leading network meetings and creating dialogue, says Seikkula.
