From Mad in Mexico: At the end of my time within the therapeutic community I continued to look for various ways to address madness, but now from a different perspective, with the idea of therapeutic accompaniment in mind, led to proposals for inclusion, it was in this search that I found an art workshop within a psychiatric-hospital institution, a workshop focused on the arts and with a perspective built from the accompaniment. The workshop took place once a week at the “Samuel Ramírez Moreno” Psychiatric Hospital, a hospital that is located on the outskirts of the city, in the first one we had I found a place very different from what I thought, something that I would never have named a hospital.
